If the recent reports are believed to be true then "The Last of Us 2" is going to come with multiple unexpected twists and turns. It is being widely speculated that the game will, for the first time ever, witness the involvement of 'Westworld' writer Halley Gross. Moreover, Express indicated that the game will be announced at this year's E3 that is scheduled to take place in June.

According to reports "The Last of Us 2," first teaser trailer was launched late last year at the PlayStation Experience 2016 event in December. This has led many to believe that the next teaser trailer might be launched just around the span of the next couple of days.

Moreover, "The Last of Us 2" is widely being dubbed as the 'crown jewel' in Sony's upcoming line-up of major PS4 exclusive titles. The game developer is reported to be preparing itself for the launch of the full gameplay at this year's annual trade expo. To recall, when "The Last of Us 2" was initially launched, the game-series managed to receive a lot of positive reviews. In fact, the game managed to gain so much recognition that it managed to become the best video game offered by Sony on PS3. Thanks to the growing popularity, Naughty Dog also managed to secure itself a prominent position in the gaming industry.

Coming back to 'The Last of Us 2,' the game series is reported to cast two main protagonists namely Joel and Ellie. The game will essentially follow the story of these two, whose voice-dubbing has been done by actors Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson respectively. "The Last of Us 2" ended at a rather abrupt mode. Therefore, it is expected that the upcoming installation is going to provide the game with the much-need clear ending.
