‘The Sims 4’ Update: 'Parenthood' DLC Contains Several 'Pets' Hints

The fifth game pack for "The Sims 4" was recently released and gave avid fans a chance to tell interesting stories with their Sims characters. However, several items in "The Sims 4: Parenthood" game pack appears to hint of the game developer's plans to release a "The Sims 4: Pets" DLC.

Speculations are rife that game developer Maxis may be looking to reintroduce animal Sims to the latest installment of "The Sims" gaming franchise. Dubbed as "The Sims 4: Pets" DLC, many gamers have been asking "The Sims 4" team to include the said pack in its roadmap of future content for the said title.

Recently, some gamers highlighted two "The Sims 4: Parenthood" items that appear to suggest of animal Sims to be introduced to "The Sims 4." A new jacket in the said DLC contained an animal paw print design, while a doctor's play set for child Sims indicated that it would a perfect fun and skill building item for aspiring physicians or veterinarians, Sim Community reported.

Comments posted by several "The Sims 4" gamers on the said fansite mentioned how the two "The Sims 4: Parenthood" assets could be indicators of a potential "The Sims 4: Pets" release. Other netizens shared that the veterinarian descriptor included in the doctor's play set might also be a hint of a potential new career to be introduced with the speculated animal-themed DLC.

Meanwhile, the recent "The Sims 4: Pets" hint is just one of the indicators that many "The Sims 4" fans considered as a sign that Maxis is set to add animal Sims to the game. Previously, eagle-eyed gamers spotted gaming codes that contained animation actions for dog and cat game characters where they can walk on tables, beds, the top of the refrigerator, bars and counter tops, Sims VIP reported.

At this time, it is unclear if "The Sims 4: Pets" pack will be one of the upcoming DLC releases for "The Sims 4." Game developers have yet to comment on the said gaming news.
