‘Dragon Quest XI Latest News & Update

"Dragon Quest XI: In Search of Departed Time" is set to release soon, with more features of the game has also been detailed. Latest reports provide information about the new smithing system of the game, including the monster riding system.

"Dragon Quest XI" New "Mysterious Smithing" Improves Equipment

In "Dragon Quest XI," the new "Mysterious Smithing" system will allow players to create and improve the equipment for use. Based on reports, these items that could be made and enhanced are weapons, armors as well as other types of equipment.

When creating the "Mysterious Smithing" process in "Dragon Quest XI," the players are required to prepare initially by getting a recipe that may be found on bookshelves and other places around the game's world. After this, they should prepare the needed materials that are found in various locations like the fields. When done with preparations, they can now begin the process by striking away at the ores in order to fill up the gauges on screen and aim for the success area.

"Dragon Quest XI" players, meantime, could also earn special skills that will provide them an advantage in smithing. Also, they can get some Restrike Gems that can strengthen the equipment they are using or already have in their stock, Nintendo Everything reported.

"Dragon Quest XI" Comes With Monster Riding System

Aside from the recently revealed Zone and Link battle systems, "Dragon Quest XI" brings another new gameplay mechanic - the monster riding system. According to reports, the game lets the players ride specific monsters after defeating them during a battle, making use of the monster's capabilities to reach the unreachable parts of the world. Every ride will let the players cross a certain type of terrain - a huge bee, for example, can ferry the players over lakes, and the skeletal Skull Rider could scale dungeon walls and cliffs, GameSpot reported.
