Xbox One new update has been released with brand new exciting features and functionalities. Meanwhile, Xbox One S bundles are now available at $50.
Xbox One Update Brings New Tab "Tournaments"
The new Xbox One update called "Tournaments" now included on the game page of "Killer Instinct," adding Arena support to the fighting game. Available tournaments can be joined in from the Tournaments hub, not to mention the ability for the players to make their own tournaments where they can set a date and time, change the settings and write a description. After this, the tournaments can finally be posted to the activity feed of a Club to get more players.
Xbox One's other new features include notifications for Looking For Group, which helps users find posts immediately. Also, LFG posts may now be shared on activity feeds via messages.
Included as well on the Xbox One update is a feature that allows Xbox Live Clubs members to filter broadcasts by games as well as the "maturity rating" of a stream. In addition, there is also a new Beam tab that shows broadcasts from that source.
Xbox One update, meantime, can now overlay the names of people being spoken to, and even change the position of the overlay or its transparency. Meanwhile, Dolby Access app is also launching on the console to introduce Dolby Atmos audio, GameSpot reported.
Xbox One S Now On Sale
Xbox One S bundles of 1 TB is now offered at $50 off for a limited time only at select retailers like Target, Best Buy, Amazon, GameStop, Walmart.com and the Microsoft Store. According to reports, the console is the only gaming device in the market that offers 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, High Dynamic Range and 4K video streaming. Users can play more than 100 exclusive games with Xbox Live, and enjoy a large library of over 300 Xbox 360 games that are playable via Backward Compatibility on Xbox One, Thurrott reported.
