BTS To Hold Press Conference In Korea Following Their Success At Billboard Music Awards

Contrary to the rumors and speculations about a supposed BTS media blackout in their hometown, BTS is getting ample press coverage. In fact, Korean primetime news YTN reported that the boys of BTS have arrived home safely and will hold a press conference after winning the Top Social Artist Award at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards.

On May 27, BTS finally returned to their hometown after a round of activities overseas. The 7-member group was greeted warmly by a swarm of fans and reporters at the Incheon International Airport, who were excited to see them after a long time. BTS came straight from Sydney, Australia where they made a stopover concert for their 2017 BTS Live Trilogy Episode III: The Wings Tour. This comes after the boys did a hectic series of interviews and appearances in dozens of US media outlets. But their schedule isn't done yet - now that they've returned to Korea, the group will hold a press conference to discuss their historic win and overall experience in the US.

BTS looked genuinely happy to be back home when they arrived at the airport. When the group walked out of the arrivals gate, member Jin could be seen proudly holding up the Billboard Top Social Artist envelope that was given to the group when they came up to the stage as winners. Leader Rap Monster could be seen walking behind Jin, smiling and looking humorously at him.

BTS will hold their press conference on the 29th but will leave immediately afterward on the 30th to do a concert in Japan, where they are slated to have 13 concerts from May 30 to July 2. Whew! The hustle indeed doesn't stop for the boys. Now that they have a Billboard Award in their list of accolades, it seems schedules will be packed more than ever. Meanwhile, ARMYs are busy trying to get BTS nominated for MTV Video Music Awards this year.
