BTS' historical win in the Billboard Music Awards as the first K-pop group to win at the prestigious awards ceremony has opened the doors for big collaborations with international artists. Multi-awarded and internationally renowned DJ Steve Aoki has recently confirmed that he will be working with the Bangtan Boys to produce some fresh, off the hook music for their upcoming releases.

According to a report by EDM Sauce, the confirmation came from no less than Steve Aoki himself when he posted on his Instagram that he will be working with BTS and Halsey on some new music. This came after BTS was spotted hanging out with Aoki and Halsey after the Billboard Music Awards ceremony.

This comes as really good news for fans of BTS, whose unique sound is a fusion of various genres of music from the East and West ranging from hip hop, R & B, dance, and EDM. A collaboration with Aoki, who has collaborated with the likes of will.i.am, Afrojack, LMFAO, Iggy Azalea, Lil Jon, will be a perfect fit for BTS given their creativity and openness to different styles of music.

After the boys met with The Chainsmokers at the recent BBMAs, BTS could also work on producing new music with the globally known EDM duo of Alex Pall and Andrew Taggart. It was reported by Koreaboo that the guys were able to hang out before the Billboard Music Awards and bonded over their common favorite subject - music.

In their post, The Chainsmokers shared some love for BTS. "Love these dudes! See you this summer," they posted.

This led many fans to believe that The Chainsmokers and BTS may have agreed to work on some music together starting this summer after the boys conclude their Wings Trilogy World Tour. This was not the first time that an idea of a collaboration with The Chainsmokers was raised. It can be recalled that when BTS leader Rap Monster posted that he was listening to music from the EDM stars, many fans pitched the idea of a collaboration between the two international superstar groups.
