BTS Billboard Style Gets Vogue-Approved; Jin Causes Stir On The Internet For 'Being Too Hot'
BTS made history as the first K-pop group to score a victory at the Billboard Music Awards and brought K-pop to the world stage. They also brought Korean style to the BBMAs magenta carpet.
BTS received praise for their "Impeccable style" as they strutted confidently on the magenta carpet in black suits that perfectly showcased their personalities. The compliment came from no less than the fashion team at Vogue Magazine.
According to the Vogue article, the standouts among the group was V, who paired a polka dotted dress shirt with a pinstriped suit with loose fit pants. BTS maknae Jungkook also exuded classic style with a classic suit, skinny tie accessories with silver rings. Jin also drew attention for his all black ensemble.
BTS leader Rap Monster, Suga, Jimin and J-Hope also received praise for their own takes on the classic black look. The Vogue post said the reason the boys pulled out a winning picture was because they took care that outfits and accessories complemented each other making for a perfect magenta carpet look.
BTS' look was not everything that had the internet buzzing because one particular member of the K-pop group stood out and captured the collective hearts of netizens. It was reported by Popcrush that Jin became a viral topic on the internet for being really hot.
Jin, who has become instantly popular among non-fans of BTS as the "third one from the left" based on their position on the BBMA magenta carpet became an accidental topic worldwide as netizens swooned over his overall gorgeousness. Netizens kept asking what his name was and soon, SEOKJIN became a popular topic on social media as well.
"That third member from the left" SEOKJIN is visuals everywhere," one netizen noted, referring to Jin's full name. This was not the first time that Jin stole the show simply because of his good looks. He also caused an online stir when netizens saw him stepping out of a car during the Melon Music Awards where he earned the monicker "the car door guy."
