‘April’ Revealed The Track Names Of Their Upcoming Single 'MAYDAY'
"APRIL" has recently released the tracklist of their upcoming album "MAYDAY". The new album from the all-girl South Korean band will contain three different tracks.
According to All KPOP, this is April's 2nd single, the first being "Boing Boing", which was released in November 2015. "MAYDAY" contains songs titled "Sting", the title track "MAYDAY" and "Yes Sir". "Sting" was previously released during the group's variety show "A-If-Ril" where the band members entertained the fans with their outstanding dance moves from the song. The song was very well received by the critics and fans, and the same is expected from the entire album, which is releasing later in the month.
The group, which was formed by DSP Media in 2015, revealed a colorful group photo on May 19, teasing the fans of their comeback after their last release "Prelude". In the picture, all the current members of the group were present beside each other in colorful dresses, that indicates a retro concept giving a 60's vibe.
The current members of "April" are Yoon Chae-kyung (20), Chaewon (19), Naeun (18), Yena (16), Rachel (16) and Jinsol (15). The former members of the group include Somin (20) and Hyunjoo (19). The South Korean band has released three extended albums along with seven singles. Their last EP "Prelude" was released on January 4, 2017, which was the group's first album featuring all six members including the newly added Chaekyung and Rachel. The album, distributed by LOEN Entertainment was a remarkable success.
Other major works of "April" include album "Dreaming" (2015) and "Spring" (2016) along with singles such as "Dream Candy", "Muah", April Story", "Tinkerbell" and "So You". The group has also appeared in several Korean Dramas such as "KARA Secret Love", "April Episode" "Momin's Room" and "Reply Pyeongchang, 100 F". "MAYDAY" full album will be released on May 29.
