Google Hosts Its I/O Developers Conference

Three new Mercedes-Benz cars now come with support for Android Auto, as uncovered by the official site of Google's smartphone projection standard. The rundown of vehicles fabricated by the German automaker incorporates the 2017 SL, 2017 GLS, and the 2017 SLC, which come at different prices.

While Mercedes-Benz is known for making extravagance vehicles and none of the mentioned models can be viewed as moderate, their costs still range from around $47,000 for a base model of the 2017 SLC to more than $87,000 for the 2017 SL convertible class. Owners of those superior lineups can now make the most of Google's interactive media stage in their vehicles if they have an Android-controlled gadget and live in a region that is formally supported by the projection arrangement. Android Auto has been expanding its support to various nations as of late and is right now accessible in the dominant part of Google's key markets including the United States, Canada, Germany, Australia, and the United Kingdom.

Before the most recent development, Mercedes-Benz had Android Auto supported with some of its vehicle lineups, including the 2017 A-Class and B-Class, CLS Coupe, and the E-Class Sedan. The Stuttgart, Germany-based carmaker just supports Google's handset projection standard on its most recent series of cars and is relied upon to expand its support for the environment later on.

Prior this month, the Android Auto application got a minor update that demonstrated a few hints of new home screen Cards that the Mountain View-based tech giant may hope to include soon. It's at present quite unclear what sort of components is the company trying, but more subtle elements of Google's plans for Android Auto are relied upon to be disclosed once Google I/O 2017 commences today.

With Android Auto up and ready for cars, Google seems to be gaining quick popularity in the auto segment. It is expected that the support will soon be extended to other countries and numerous models, which will be a welcome move by Google.
