Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+: Official Introduction

The Samsung Galaxy S8 is considered as the best phone ever released this year. However, there are some devices that have a better specific spec than this South Korean handset device.

This time, we will compare a year older device, the Honor Mate, to this current 2017 best smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S8. The latter might be the latest, but it doesn't mean it has all the best specs available in the market.

Let's start the comparison of these smartphones. The Samsung Galaxy S8 is powered by the Android 7.0 Nougat. It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor chips, Adreno 540 graphics processor, 4GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage. The Honor Mate 8 is powered by the Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It has a HiSilicon Kirin 955 processor chip, Mali-T880 MP4 graphics processor, 4GB of RAM with 128GB of Internal Storage.

In the power and battery, the Honor Mate 8 is better with its 4500mAh battery compared to the Samsung Galaxy S8 3000mAh. As well in the camera in which the former has 13mp while the Samsung has only 12mp. These facts prove that there are still better devices than this S8.

However, based on the experts and tech enthusiasts' reviews, the Samsung Galaxy S8 is considered the best because of its stunning features than its specs. It has Iris and Fingerprint scanner, water and dust resistant, Bixby Assistant and the revolutionary stunning full-screen display.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 is a year younger than the Honor Mate 8 so it is reasonable that it has all the more advanced technology. On the other hand, the Mate 8 seems still has the good specs, enough to compete with the latest devices this year.

Based on this comparison, the Samsung Galaxy S8 is better than the Honor Mate 8 in the overall score. But there is still aspect, which the Mate 8 can beat the former device.
