Song Joong Ki will soon make his small screen comeback in a special role for JTBC's spy drama "Man to Man." The actor will even portray a role similar to Yoo Ah In's character when he made a guest appearance in "Descendants of the Sun."

The upcoming "Man to Man" episode 9 will feature the cameo appearance of "Descendants of the Sun" star Song Joong Ki. For the said spy drama, the actor will play a bank employee who will process a loan application made by Park Sung Woong's character Woon Kwang, according to Korea Herald. The said loan will be used by Park Hae Jin's character Seol Woo for an undercover work that will involve what appears to be a black-market auction.

Avid fans also expressed their amusement at the similarities between Song Joong Ki's cameo role in "Man to Man" and Yoo Ah In's special role in "Descendants of the Sun." The "Chicago Typewriter" actor also portrayed a bank employee in the said KBS series who denied the loan request of Song Hye Kyo's character.

Meanwhile, Song Joong Ki's special appearance in "Man to Man" was made possible given the actor's close friendship with one of the JTBC drama's scriptwriters namely Kim Won Suk. The said scriptwriter was one of the writers for the global hit "Descendants of the Sun."

Apart from Song Joong Ki, avid "Man to Man" viewers can also expect a cameo appearance from Namgoong Min. The said actor will portray a villain in the drama's upcoming tenth episode.

In other news, Park Hae Jin recently gave a candid interview where he talked about his kissing scene with Kim Min Jung on "Man to Man." In a V Live interview, as cited by Korean news outlet news1, the actor shared that the said scene was challenging to film due to the cold weather. The "Cheese in the Trap" star commented that both his and Kim Min Jung's lips were frozen given the -10 degrees Celsius temperature and the night filming conditions.

"Man to Man" airs every Friday and Saturday on JTBC. Watch a teaser clip for the upcoming episode 9 below:
