Avid Gong Yoo fans will soon see a different side of the South Korean celebrity. The "Goblin" actor will be playing the role of a merchant for his upcoming bazaar charity project.

Gong Yoo is set to host a special project with his fans specifically a bazaar event to benefit the less fortunate. In a recent announcement by the "Goblin" actor's agency, as obtained by Korea Herald, Management Soop shared that several items from the said celebrity's personal collection will be sold during the event.

The "Train to Busan" star will also play an active role at the said charity bazaar and spend quality time with his fans. Described as an opportunity for Gong Yoo to connect with his loyal followers in a different way and also give back to the community, all the proceeds from the event will be donated to a worthy cause.

At this time, Management Soop has yet to unveil the organization that will benefit from Gong Yoo's bazaar. Recently, the actor donated part of the profits from his Taiwan and Hong Kong fan meetings to help less fortunate children from the said Asian countries.

In other news, one of the celebrities who appeared as a special guest in Gong Yoo's recent fan meeting was actress Gong Hyo Jin. It appears that the "Jealousy Incarnate" actress became one of the actor's close friends after they starred in the 2005 drama "Biscuit Teacher and Star Candy."

Held in Hong Kong, the actress revealed some of the "Goblin" star's weaknesses and strengths. Gong Hyo Jin shared that Gong Yoo is a great listener and an honest man although he can be timid at times and tends to be very secretive, Soompi reported.

Gong Yoo's bazaar will be held on May 27, Saturday in South Korea. Meanwhile, "Goblin" aired from early December 2016 until Jan. 21 on tvN.
