'John Wick 2' Wraps Up Filming In New York; First Trailer To Arrive Soon?

It was remembered that the "John Wick 2" ended with a cliffhanger and a series of unanswered questions from its fans. With this, it is believed the Keanu Reeves would be having its third installment real soon. Reports are still uncertain regarding the location of the upcoming film but it seems like its creators are seeing the Middle East as a perfect place for John Wick to unleash himself.

According to Starz Post, producer Jeff Waxman and director Chad Stahelski are currently in Dubai to scout for the third installment of "John Wick". Sources told that the movie earned $150 million worldwide, which could be a great indicator that the third film could be grander and greater than the past installments.

With this, the production crew of the film already went to some of Dubai's tourist spots and popular landmarks including Jumeirah, Burj Al Arab and Sheikh Zayed Road. Alarabiya reported that the Dubai Film and TV Commission admitted that the film already has a budget of $50 million, with $8 million being set aside specifically for the scenes in Dubai.

Fans are excited to witness new places again in the film as its previous one already showcased the beauty of New York and Rome. Also, it was remembered that Stahelski already spilled the news regarding the Middle East as one of their desired locations during one of his interviews.

"We talked about the U.K., Paris, we'd love to do the Middle East and Asia, those are our hotspots," said Stahelski. "Something like that will gestate, I'm sure. I would like to end it in New York, where we started. To go full circle."

Other than that, reports also revealed that Reeves would also want to see John Wick doing some of his stunts in a desert, which could be a great indicator that the Middle East could be their final shooting location.
