OnePlus 5 Release Date & Update: Beats The Latest Smartphone On Benchmark Result
OnePlus 5 is one of the best smartphone devices expected to arrive this year, and on the recent report, it seems it already proves its power and performance. According to the new report, an image leaked a benchmark result of the handset device and shows that it is even better than the latest devices.
The screenshot images were first reported by the GSM Arena, showing and revealing the results of the OnePlus 5 benchmark scorecard on GeekBench. The results show an impressive score of 1963 during the single-core test and the massive 6687 score on the multi-core, topping the GeekBench 4 list.
Based on these results, the OnePlus 5 surpassed all the latest devices available on the market on the multi-core test, even the iPhone 7 Plus, Huawei Mate 9, and the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus, which is considered the best smartphone device available today. These devices score 5664, 6112, and 6375, respectively.
On the single-core test, the OnePlus 5 seem short on scores to get the top position. The results show that the Apple iPhone 7 Plus topped the list with its 3473 score. The Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus on the second and the OnePlus device on the third with the scores 1978 and 1963 respectively.
The screenshot reveal not only the GeekBench score of the OnePlus 5 handset device, but also reveals its other specifications. According to this screenshot, the device will be powered by the Android 7.1.1 Nougat base for OnePlus' in-house Oxygen OS.
Other than these details, no other information was revealed by the image. OnePlus 5 is expected to come with the powerful specs, like the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and the minimum of 6GB RAM. As of now, the device has still no official releasing date, but according to the reports and speculations, it is coming this summer.
