"Scandal" Season 6 finale airs next week. The series wraps up its sixth season with Episode 15 & 16 airing back-to-back. The final two segments feature Fitz' final days of the presidency and some unexpected changes.

[Spoiler alert! This article contains spoilers for "Scandal" Season 6 finale (Episode 15 & 16). Do not read further if you are avoiding spoilers.]

"Scandal" Season 6 finale kicks off with Episode 15 titled "Tick Tock." It revolves around Mellie and Olivia. According to the description, Olivia risks everything to ensure Mellie's safety at the inauguration. After the assassination of former President-elect Francisco Vargas on the election night, Olivia is extra cautious regarding her security. Mellie faces more challenges before she takes the oath.

"Scandal" Season 6 Episode 16 is titled "Transfer of Power" and it sees what happens in Fitz final days of presidency. According to the description, President Fitzgerald makes some unexpected changes before he walks out of the White House.

Official Synopsis: "As the clock ticks down to the inauguration of the first female President of the United States, Olivia takes a big risk to ensure Mellie's safety," reads the official synopsis for "Scandal" Season 6, Episode 15 as on Spoilers Guide.

"In the final days of his presidency, Fitz uses his power to make some unexpected changes," reads the official synopsis for the finale (episode 16) as on the above-mentioned website.

In an interview with TV Guide, actress Bellamy Young teases the two-hour finale.

"We're certainly in a battle at this point between good and evil. ... By the finale, some folks will have become people you couldn't have imagined they would," Young said.

"She's terrified [of Peus]." But she's at a time in her life where she can't succumb to the terror. She has to walk forward in spite of the terror," Young said.
