Samsung Galaxy Note 8: An Ultimate Flagship Smartphone With Bixby & 4K Display, Launch Expected In September
Samsung didn't exactly have a good time back in 2016, thanks to its Galaxy Note 7 fiasco. While the device did well - both design and specifications wise, however; the smartphone came plagued with battery issues. Even though the South-Korean tech giant got rid of the Note 7 line-up, that does not necessarily mean that they are done with that flagship family all together. Samsung has apparently officially confirmed that they will be coming with a new Galaxy Note 8 flagship later this year.
According to several reports from SamMobile, Samsung recently confirmed that they are working on a new, revamped successor to its Note 7. The device has apparently been dubbed 'Great' and carries the model number SM-N950F.
On the specifications front, according to a report published by Digital Trends - which quotes a KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo - Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is expected to pack a dual rear camera setup with 12MP and 13MP sensors. No word on what sensors the front camera will pick has been out yet.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is rumored to sport 4K curved display. Notably, Many few gadgets have the said feature. Note 8 is also said to get Harmon Kardon speakers.
On the design front, as per Leakspinner on SlashLeaks, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8smartphone is expected to feature a similar display as Galaxy S8. However, the display will be slightly larger. The smartphone will also apparently come equipped with Samsung's S Pen - which is good news as it is considered to be among the top features of the Note flagship family.
Samsung recently debuted its own digital assistant called Bixby. Bixby - similar to Apple's Siri - performs all the functions that a normal mobile digital assistant would. Chances are, the South-Korean tech-giant might just pack the speculated Samsung Galaxy Note 8 smartphone with the digital assistant.
The pricing of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 8 smartphone hasn't been revealed yet. As per reports, the phablet might be launched in September, this year.
