Electronic Arts Debuts New Games At E3 Conference

The "Star Wars: Battlefront 2" update revealed by EA reveals some promising and ambitious content that would certainly make up for what's lacking in the first game. Avid gamers and "Star Wars" fans believe that the first "Battlefront" game didn't live up to its expectations since it had too much wasted potential.

This was more evident in the lack of content in the first game, specially in terms of a single-player campaign. Fortunately, EA's recent "Star Wars: Battlefront 2" update shows just how serious the developers are in meeting the fans' expectations this time around.

According to Gamespot, EA revealed that the upcoming "Battlefront 2" game will be filled with content that's three times bigger than the last game. In addition, EA also shared that the "Battlefront" sequel will also please "Battlefield" fans just as much as it pleases fans of the "Star Wars" series.

EA CEO Andrew Wilson mentioned that they listened to all the feedback that the first game received and that they took these concerns seriously as they hope to address these in the sequel. After all, there was so much gripe about how much is lacking in the first game, and the fact that it didn't have that much lasting appeal and longevity. Meanwhile, there's another "Star Wars: Battlefront 2" update that's been garnering much interest lately.

According to GamesRadar, the next "Battlefront" game will have PlayStation VR support. If that's the case, then this ups the ante when it comes to fully experiencing the "Star Wars" universe by letting players witness epic space dogfights first hand.

It will be interesting to see if the whole campaign can be fully-realized in VR or if the feature will only be limited to space or vehicle missions. Regardless, this "Star Wars: Battlefront 2" update is shaping up the game to be what the first should have been in the first place.
