Huawei Honor 9 News: Leaks Suggest The Absence Of A Key Feature; Just An Updated Honor 8?
After Apple had scrapped the idea of a headphone jack port onto their iPhone 7, other phone brands seemed to follow the hype thinking that it will be for the better. It may well seem that the Guandong tech giant Huawei will be hopping on to the said bandwagon with the upcoming Huawei Honor 9.
Top and bottom profile shots of the purported Honor 9 was first teased by The Tech Point and was cited by GSMArena suggesting that the unannounced handset will no longer don a 3.5mm audio jack. However, it is very much noticeable that it will be replaced by a USB Type-C connector instead. That being said, it is plausible that Huawei might include an adaptor of some sort for a 3.5mm headphone jack just like what HTC will be doing with their HTC U 11.
Another leak has been making rounds online prior to the above-mentioned as both back and front images of the alleged Honor 9 were featured not to mention that it came in three color variations: blue, white, and black. Also, the front panel suggests that it will not go bezel-less for this release.

The back panel of the Honor 9 teased a dual camera setup. Moreover, the fingerprint sensor that was previously lodged at the back of its predecessor - the Honor 8 - was nowhere in sight. It is believed that the security feature could be embedded into the display of the phone though it is still circumstantial as of the moment, according to Gizbot.
As of late, Honor 9's main specifications are still under wraps. However, both tech buffs and consumers alike expect an upped performance in terms of features, battery performance, and even a water resistance rating. In the meantime, check out a video about the yet to be announced handset here:
