BTS 2017 Billboard Music Awards Nomination Unites South Korean Artists Fanbases
At this point of time, ARMYs aren't the only one voting for the BTS for its "Top Social Media Artist" Nomination on the 2017 Billboard Music Awards. Many foreign fans who are following the latest poll are shocked with how South Korean fandoms are uniting for the group to win.
According to Koreaboo, ARMYs have proven their love for Jungkook, Jin, V, J-Hope, Rap Monster, Jimin, and Suga once more. BTS is one of the leading artists for the "Top Social Media Artists" category now. This happened after the amazing storm of votes of retweets.
The Billboard Music Awards just recently posted a tweet for the Top Social Artist award. This will apparently be retweeted by each fan to collect votes. At the present, BTS already garnered 351,000. This is a feat considering the others: Shawn Mendes' 23,000, Justin Bieber's 20,000 and Ariana Grande's 10,000.
The Westerner fans are clearly appalled with how South Korean fandoms influence the retweeting votes. BTS being the only K-Pop group to be nominated for the Billboard Music Awards, almost all the other artists' fandoms helped out to do the amazing achievement.
Additionally, those who voted for the international celebrities can't help but comment as well on BTS retweets. One Twitter user even said, "Beliebers, don't stop voting they are much stronger than us#JustinBBMAs." Another one also went on saying, " We western fandoms are afraid of Harmonizers when it comes to voting that even they're no competition for K-pop fandoms."
In another report by SBS PopAsia, BTS' 2017 Billboard Music Awards is still the topic. Its highlight focuses on #BTSBBMAs which is the official hashtag of the group for their nomination.
By using the official #BTSBBMAs, anyone can vote for BTS. The polls have opened up but it will still be open until May 21. Meanwhile, the hashtag is currently reigning the top worldwide spot on Twitter.
