Marriage rumors have been swirling around singer Miley Cyrus and actor Liam Hemsworth ever since the couple got back together last year but it seems that for the meantime, they will remain speculation. Fans recently got their hopes up with Billy Ray Cyrus' recent post of his daughter in a white dress.
According to a report by Harper's Bazaar, Billy Ray's cryptic post saying "I'm so happy...you are happy@mileycyrus" got a lot of tongues wagging especially with the accompanying photo showing Miley smiling widely while wearing a white dress. Rumors also swirled that Miley and Liam got married during the new year when they celebrated the occasion with the combined attendance of both their families as well as Miley's post of the pair kissing while wearing matching gold outfits.
It can be recalled that things did not work out very well the first time Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth got engaged. The couple who fell in love on the set of "The Last Song" eventually broke up after rumors of cheating and misunderstandings plagued the relationship. Still, Miley and Liam spoke glowingly of each other in their interviews, leading fans to believe that the couple still had feelings for each other despite the celebrities they have been reported to be dating after their relationship ended.
Miley and Liam reconnected early last year but seemed to have learned their lesson from the first time around. A report by Hollywood Life cited a source close to Miley who said that the "Wrecking Ball" singer wants to focus on her career first before she decides to get married. Aside from her return to "The Voice" for Season 13, the singer is also working on new music and wants to go on tour.
The source cited that Liam's beau also wants to do an amazing halftime show for Super Bowl once she starts promoting her new album so it may take a while before she thinks of settling down. If everything works out the way Miley plans, it could take up to three years before the pair eventually settles down.
