"Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" star Park Bo Young continues to make a name in South Korea even though she's just 27 years old.
The actress recently revealed how she chooses the projects that she will be a part of. While speaking with Soompi following the successful release of "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon," Park Bo Young revealed that her company was against some of the projects that were offered to her.
"It was like this during 'Oh My Ghostess,' too, where my company didn't want me to take the role because it would be too difficult for me. But I ended up doing so anyways because, for me, the story and the script are my number one priority. I try to pick projects where I can play new types of roles. I guess because I do this, I end up taking long breaks in between projects, and my fans aren't too happy about that," she said.
Meanwhile, Park Bo Young also acknowledged the fact that a lot of fans find her cute and adorable even though she's already an adult. When asked if this is how she really is in real life, the actress said that there was a time she felt conscious about the way her voice sounded when a fan said that it was too high-pitched. In the end, Park Bo Young decided to stay true to herself so how she is during interviews is how she really is in real life.
Despite all of the fame that she's been receiving lately, Park Bo Young constantly reminds herself to keep her feet deeply planted on the ground. The actress knows for sure that fame is just temporary.
During a separate interview, Park Bo Young said that being tied with a huge lawsuit with her former agency made her realize that nothing in this world is permanent. Thanks to "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon," the actress' life is finally back on track.
