Windows 10 Latest News & Update: Desktop Personalization Themes Nowhere To Be Found? Microsoft Warns Users Vs Download, Find Out Why
Windows 10 Creators update has been faced with numerous issues, although the bugs appear to be isolated on older machines. While only a small number of users have successfully implemented the patch, reports suggest that some perks can still be enjoyed.
Windows 10 Allows Desktop Personalization
Among the perks offered by Windows 10 is the desktop personalization that can be accessed by users whose devices currently run on Windows 10 Creators update. According to reports, more than 175 preset desktop themes are available, which the users can use as they please.
However, it is unclear where to get these Windows 10 personal themes. Although Windows Store is a more likely place to head to, the search may also point to apps and other items, or some users may skim through search results at the store. Nevertheless, going over the Settings app is reportedly the entry point to accessing the 175 themes, where a link directs the users to the actual Windows Store that holds themes.
Windows 10 setting, meantime, can be done by clicking "Start" and choosing the cog icon found at the lower left corner of the menu. After getting there, head on over to "Personalization" and choose "Themes," Tech Republic reported.
Microsoft Tells Users Not To Install Windows 10 Creators Update
Users without much tech background are advised to prevent downloading the Windows 10 Creators update manually. The report came after Microsoft released a warning signed as urgent.
Windows 10 Creators update has already been available for two weeks now, and the tech giant is said to worry about users who have little knowledge of the update and may face some difficulty working through the overall issues when installing the code. This is because the older machines are likely incompatible with the Windows 10 patch, and may run the risk of making bigger issues for users who will download it, Express reported.
