‘GTA 5’ Halloween DLC Introduced By Rockstar Games; Live Stream For Updates Out On October 30
Rockstar Games introduced "Halloween Surprise" treats for GTA online players in a limited time offer 'til Nov. 16, according to Rockstar Games.
A new game mode is up to challenge the players to survive against "The Slasher" or to do some killing of their own, according to PC Gamer.
GTA will also have 20 additional "ghoulish" bobbleheads that can be used to any customizable lowrider cars alongside with two newest creepy vehicles, Franken Stange and Lurcher Hurse, according to GameSpot.
A bunch of wicked masks will be available in the Monsters section "to help you get into the spirit of the season", according to PC Gamer. There will be a default Halloween mask option that will be set for all Heists. Aside from that, there will also be additional of 30 creepy face paints to give players the Halloween vibe during the game.
The new slasher mode is in nighttime setting where players need to hide to survive and kill the designated slasher. It will allow a maximum of eight players and will have a certain player to play as the Slasher.
Other players will start the game with only a flashlight in hand to navigate but the disadvantage is it will reveal the player's location and might immediately become the target. Players need to survive for three minutes to earn a shotgun for their own killing splurge, according to Rockstar Games.
The new Halloween surprise treats will only be available until Nov. 16 but once the player gets the item it will be stored in their inventory permanently even after Nov. 16, according to PC Gamer.
Rockstar organized a live stream scheduled on Oct. 30 at 5pm ET and they will be announcing the upcoming special Halloween weekend event details for GTA online players. The live stream will feature the Rockstar's broadcast team and surprise special guests, according to Rockstar Games.
