Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Confirmed: Bezel-Less Design, Dual-Camera Setup & Bixby AI Assistant Plus Release Date

Samsung is expected to manufacture the successor to its Note 7 flagship smartphone, presumably Galaxy Note 8 anytime soon. In fact, the South-Korean tech giant even seems to have confirmed the fact that they are working on the Galaxy Note 8 device. As per reports, the flagship might launch in September.

According to a report published by Value Walk, Samsung released a statement lately suggesting that the company is striving towards maintaining profitability through its recently-launched Galaxy S8 and S8+ devices. Furthermore, the company confirmed the existence of its upcoming Galaxy Note 8 smartphone as well. While the release date of the Galaxy Note 8 device hasn't been revealed yet, many reports suggest that the company might be planning an IFA debut.

According to a report published by Tech Radar, Executive Director of IFA, Jens Heithecker seems to have confirmed that the South-Korean tech giant is expected to take the wraps of its next-gen phablet at an event at IFA.

Trusted Review quotes KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo as predicting that the upcoming smartphone will come equipped with a dual rear camera setup. If this turns out to be true then the upcoming smartphone will fall in direct competition with LG G6 which also sports a dual rear camera. Moreover, there's a high possibility that the Galaxy Note 8 device may also feature Samsung's Bixby AI assistant.

Galaxy Note 8 will offer up to 256GB of internal storage and at least 8GB of RAM. No word on the battery yet, but it is expected that the battery will be non-removable by nature. The smartphone will also be coming with a fingerprint sensor. The phablet will sport the bezel-less design with a curved display.

As for the other specifications are concerned, GSMArena claims that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is to sport a 5.7-inch display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 back panel. The display is further expected to be of Super AMOLED capacitive touch-screen nature.
