'Attack on Titan' Season 2 News: Where & When To Get Blu-Ray, DVDs; Special VR Movies, Glasses To Be Included As Freebies
"Attack On Titan" Season 2 is far from officially over but this isn't keeping fans from wanting to know about the details of its Blu-Ray and DVD release. The current season is now on its fifth episode.
According to entertainment site Comic Book, Amazon has officially posted the release dates of "Attack on Titan" Season 2 Volume 1 and 2 and the first batch will already be available as soon as next month. Based on the post, the first volume of the anime will be available starting June 21.
The second volume of "Attack on Titan" Season 2 1ill be available on August 18. A special treat for the fans availing of the first volume of will be the inclusion of a special VR movie entitled "Shingeki no Kyojin-ten 360° Taikan Theater 'Hotaru'" (Attack on Titan Exhibition 360-degree: Experience Theater "Roar") as well as specially designed VR goggles to view the movie.
That's not all. the second set of Blu-rays and DVDs of "Attack on Titan" Season 2 will also feature its own VR movie so this comes as a double treat for collectors who are planning to avail of both sets. Aside from the bonus VR movie, the Blu-ray and DVD sets will also feature fill color booklets as well as entitle the purchasers for priority pre-sale tickets for a "Shinjeko No Kyojin" event at the Tokyo Dome on October 29.
"Attack on Titan" Season 2 has been reaping positive feedback from fans of the anime with its non-stop thrills, deaths and twists since it premiered. However, fans were disappointed to learn that after a long wait. "Attack on Titan" will only feature 12 episodes, reported Polygon.
So far, no news has been made about the development of "Attack on Titan" Season 3. This week's fifth episode of "Attack on Titan" Season 2, entitled "Historia" is expected to reveal the promise made between Christa and Ymir during their training days and what Christa knows about the Walls having Titans.
