Where Is JYJ Member Kim Junsu Now? Singer Enjoys His First Leave From The Army Service

JYJ's Kim Junsu recently gave his thousands of followers on social media an update on his whereabouts, two months after enlisting in the army.

On his Instagram account, the singer posted a snap with his senior officer. He captioned the photo by saying hi to his followers and wishing each and every one of them a wonderful day. Kim Junsu last posted a photo on the same social media account in February. At that time, he showed off his shaved head and wrote a short goodbye message for his supporters.

According to Soompi, the actor, who has been in the music business for the past 13 years, is undergoing training to become a conscripted policeman. On March 22, photos of Kim Junsu wearing his official uniform were posted on Gyeonggi Nambu Provincial Police Agency's official website.

Kim Junsu registered at the army training center in Nonsan, Chungnam Province on February 9. Four weeks after his basic training, he moved to Gyeonggi Nambu Provincial Police Agency, where he underwent two to three weeks of additional training. After which, he will join the special promotions unit of the police agency to fulfill his military requirements. The singer will officially be discharged from his post on November 18, 2018.

Meanwhile, Kim Junsu, who also goes by the stage name Xia, has been a member of the popular Korean pop group, JYJ, since 2010. After entering the army, Kim Junsu's good friend and fellow JYJ member, Kim Jaejoong gave the former a touching message. Kim Jaejoong already completed his stint in the army in December 2016, so he reminded Kim Junsu to always stay cheerful and healthy and to never get himself hurt.

As of late, it is unclear whether or not Kim Junsu will have the chance to reunite with his fellow JYJ members before returning to service.
