Manila, 29th April: Philippine president, Rodrigo Duterte was quoted asking the United States to show restraint after north Korea's latest missile test.

North Korea had conducted a recent ballistic missile test despite the current state of international affairs. This unauthorized and unwanted weapons testing had put the United States on the edges of their seat.

In an attempt to handle the situation, President Duterte asked the United States to show restraint after the recent missile test. The Philippine leader asked the U.S to avoid playing right into Kim Jong Un's hands, who "wants to end the world".

A very blunt man of his words, President Duterte said that the Southeast Asian region of the world was extremely concerned with the recent rising tensions between the United States and North Korea. According to President Duterte, any misstep by either party would result in an international level catastrophe, and Asia would be the first victim if a nuclear war was to break out.

In the President Duterte's words, The United States, Japan, South Korea and China were sparring with a madman, who was excited at the prospect of firing missiles. While referring to Washington and Pyongyang, President Duterte told a news conference "There seem to be two countries playing with their toys and those toys are not really to entertain". The president gave this statement after his ASEAN summit in Manila.

In an attempt to shed light on the intentions of Kim Jong Un, the president was quoted saying "The guy simply wants to end the world, that is why he is very happy. He is always smiling. But he really wants to finish everything and he wants to drag us all down". Like/Share and let your friends know, about President Duterte's appeal to the U.S
