Samsung Galaxy J3 Prime has been recently launched in the US at a price of $150. The latest Samsung Galaxy J3 Prime features Android 7.0 Nougat OS. The smartphone is listed on T-Mobile, and like other phones in the J series follows the budget pricing.
In terms of specs, the Samsung Galaxy J3 Prime comes in a 5-inch display with HD resolution (1280×720 pixels), and dimensions of the phone are 5.5 x 2.75 x 0.35 inches. The device is equipped by a quad-core 1.35 GHz Exynos 7570 processor with 1.5GB RAM that is coupled with 16GB device storage, which can be further expanded up to additional 128GB using the MicroSD card slot, as reported by Indian Express.
According to Phone Rader, Samsung Galaxy J3 Prime runs on latest Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box with the customized TouchWiz UI laid on top. On the camera side, there is a 5MP rear camera with f/1.9 aperture and LED flash and a 2MP selfie camera.
Samsung is promising up to 20 hours talk time with the Samsung Galaxy J3 Prime and 20 days standby time, though the exact battery capacity has not been specified on the page. Connectivity options includes Wi-Fi 802.11 a/ac/b/g/n, USB, LTE, UMTS/HSPA+ and has GPS support, plus Bluetooth 4.0, as per NDTV.
Below the display in Samsung Galaxy J3 Prime, there is a physical home button with two capacitive navigation buttons on either side of it. The loudspeaker and the power button are placed on the right edge of the smartphone; while on the left edge is the volume rocker. The SIM and MicroSD card slot are placed on the back of the Samsung Galaxy J3 Prime that can be seen by removing the rear plastic panel. As of now, there is no information about the availability of these devices in the other markets.
