According to a report published by Deccan Chronicle, the upcoming OnePlus 5 smartphone has been reported to be sporting a dual curved screen. Previously, it was reported that the device may feature a 5.5-inch display with 2K resolution.
Yet another report published by The Indian Express claims that renders of the OnePlus 5 smartphone were recently leaked too. As per the information showcased in the renders, it appears as if OnePlus 5 smartphone features brushed aluminum design along with curved edges - much like its predecessor, the OnePlus 3T (Midnight Black) variant. The leaked renders also further confirmed that OnePlus will be embedding the fingerprint sensor on the back of the device, just like it traditionally does since the last three generations.
In the past, a report India Today suggested that the upcoming OnePlus smartphone will be called OnePlus 5 and not OnePlus 4, as it should ideally be called. On the specifications front, the OnePlus 5 smartphone is expected to pack a 5.5-inch display with 2K resolution and will be powered by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 835 chipset. Furthermore, the device is widely believed to be carrying a whopping 3,000mAh battery.
While the release date of the OnePlus 5 hasn't been confirmed yet, several reports suggest that the device may be launched in Q2 of 2017. Stay tuned for more tech updates.
