Super Junior Member Heechul Tells Fans He’s Fine After Another Car Accident
Super Junior's Kim Heechul was involved in a minor car accident on his way to filming 'Knowing Brothers' on April 27. The incident was reportedly a 5-car collision but the idol did not suffer any serious injuries.
On Thursday, reports said, "On the way to filming JTBC's 'Knowing Brothers', Heechul was involved in a 5-car accident. It wasn't a big accident. As it was minor, his manager was left on the scene to deal with it, and Heechul and his stylist went to the filming as to not be late. As it was such a small accident, he went on to have an energetic filming session."
SM Entertainment confirmed that Heechul was fine but will still be going to the hospital for a routine check-up to make sure there are no injuries. Heechul himself assured concerned fans that he was unharmed.
He posted a photo of himself on his Instagram page, saying, "Always put on your seat belt. That's why I wasn't hurt. Due to my manager's cyber formula level reaction, we were able to avoid a major accident."
Heechul added, "When I told the agency my situation and the 'Knowing Brothers' filming, they told me to definitely not overdo it and go to the hospital immediately. My response was, 'Who's going to do the ad-libs if I'm not there?' I wrapped up filming well and left. I hope my children don't worry too much. I'm telling you again, make sure to put on your seat belt!"
Fellow Super Junior member Yesung expressed concern after the accident by posting a photo of him with Heechul with the caption, "Glad Hee Bong (Heechul) wasn't hurt badly.. #Don't get hurt #Everyone #ELF #Goodnight."
This isn't Heechul's first vehicular-related accident. Back in 2006, he and other Super Junior members were also involved in a major car collision after their tires malfunctioned while they were switching lanes. He and member Kyuhyun sustained the most serious injuries.
