‘Blindspot’ Season 2 Spoilers: Showrunner Teases Big Story Twists, Hints Unveiling Jane’s Tattoos
With only a few episodes left before "Blindspot" Season 2 closes its final chapter, avid fans of the NBC series can look forward to an exciting season ending. Latest spoiler news teased of huge story twists including the unveiling of some of the show's secrets.
Beloved characters of "Blindspot" Season 2 has had to contend with trying to remain several steps ahead of their opponents. Given the impending threat of Sandstorm's Phase 2, Jane (Jaimie Alexander) and her team will need to remain vigilant to ensure that they achieve their goals and complete their missions.
However, the storyline for upcoming "Blindspot" Season 2 episodes will contain a few plot twists. Series creator Martin Gero told TV Guide that the said story twists will contribute to the overall mythos of the NBC show's current season. He even described the plot twists as "super huge" and the upcoming season finale as "enormous."
The "Blindspot" Season 2 showrunner added, "These final four episodes of the season really almost play out as one giant finale ... [Sandstorm's] Phase 2 will play out over these next four episodes."
Moreover, as "Blindspot" Season 2 heads to its season finale, many of the viewers' long-standing questions will be answered, according to Gero. The series' creator even mentioned that they will uncover the reason behind Jane's tattoos, Shepherd's (Michelle Hurd) end goal and more.
In other news, the upcoming "Blindspot" Season 2 episode 20 will feature Zapata's imprisonment including an exciting encounter between Jane and a formidable opponent. Titled "In Words, Drown I," the said episode will show Zapata's (Audrey Esparza) new life in prison, according to episode spoilers posted on Spoilers Guide.
Zapata's sojourn in prison will also lead her to meet a strong Sandstorm agent named Devon (Ronda Rousey). The promo clip for the upcoming "Blindspot" Season 2 episode 20 even teased of Jane's fierce battle with the said agent in an ultimate match between two powerful fighters.
