DJI Goggles Release Date, Latest News & Update: Price $449 Shipps In May; Brings Improved ‘Ronin 2’ Features

DJI Goggles, the highly-awaited drone accessory, are now available to pre-orders. Incidentally, the first-person view headset accessory that was launched during the Mavic Pro event of the company last year seemed to disappeared following its launch. This had made the fans worry about the inability of the company to deliver on the promise of having the accessory made available to DJI drone users.

DJI Goggles Are Available For Purchase

The problems surrounding the DJI Goggles have finally been resolved, making the accessory available for purchase. It is worth noting that the high-tech pair of goggles have been known as among the most long-awaited accessories for the drone enthusiasts.

DJI Goggles' maker has announced previously that they will make the user's' right to experience the feeling of a real flight as their top priority. Meantime, the goggles have been reported to use the company's own OcuSync technology that enables the drone's camera to transfer immediately the feed to the accessory in real-time.

Moreover, the DJI Goggles are expected to work well several DJI drones such as the DJI Phantom 4, the Inspire series of drones and the DJI Mavic pro. Aside from this, the users are also allowed to use two specific modes like a high quality 1080p full HD mode ate 30fps and a high frame rate 720p resolution mode at 60fps. Also, the latency for the camera feed will just be 110 milliseconds that does not seem noticeable to an average user, Pocket Lint reported.

DJI Goggles Look To The Drone Flight Future Via Improved "Ronin 2"

DJI Goggles have also received improvements on its new three-axis camera stabilizer with "Ronin 2." According to reports, the update was made specifically to meet the demands of filmmakers like Ethan Hawke, who made use of the original Ronin in filming his biopic "Blaze."

Reports suggest that the gimbals of DJI Goggles' "Ronin 2" have more power that provides more torque to manage bigger cameras. Also, the carbon fiber monocoque is sturdy and light and the ability to link accessories and the cameras through "Ronin 2's" integrated power and data ports has improved as well, Meantime, "Ronin 2" will be available during this year's second quarter, while the DJI Goggles worth $449 will begin shipping in May, Engadget reported. Check out DJI Goggles here:
