Curved display smartphones are using OLED display, a flexible display material suitable for the curved screens. Samsung and LG are the owners of the two main manufacturers of this OLED technology and many mobile manufacturers offering them with a lot of investments for this, like the Apple and Google, and it is not surprising if this will be used on their own gadgets.

Apple iPhone 8, Google Pixel 2, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 are the upcoming devices expected to follow the curved display trend. Regarding these smartphones, it is still unknown whether they will curve all the display sides of their products or they will just follow the common two curved sides display.

After the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus, the South Korean is now expected to use this curved display onto its upcoming devices, the same for the LG. Consumers seem to love the idea of this curved screen and so far, no problems regarding this ever reported in any part of the world, to make the long story short, curved-display is the future of smartphones.

Meanwhile, using this four curved sides display will bring some adjustments to some of the device features. Using this idea will surely use the space for the USB and headphone port and for now, the only way to use this display without ditching out the port, especially the USB, is to make a thicker body.
