Refurbished Samsung Note 7: Battery Explosion Still A Possibility?
Samsung Note 7 will go once again this June in South Korea. Notably, the people's question will be its battery now. 300,000 handsets will supposedly be on sale with a smaller battery to avoid the exploding instance. Check out the other details here.
According to the Verge, refurbished Samsung Note 7 devices will be available soon in South Korea only. This will get a new price tag of 700,000 won ($250) which is remarkably cheaper than its 700,000 won ($600) worth before. Along with it, the battery is also reduced to prevent any more explosions.
From 3500 mah, the recycled Samsung Note 7 will get 3,200 mah now. Its downgrade is due to the controversy when Samsung tried to fit the bigger one on it. Hence, it overheats and explodes that caused the call back to all the prior units.
At the moment, three carriers are still in talks about the refurbished Samsung Note 7. There are still no complete details about its actual branding and pricing. But the company is trying its best to do everything about it, environmental impact is the reason for it.
"The objective of introducing refurbished devices is sole to reduce and minimize any environmental impact. The product details including the name, technical specification and price range will be announced when the device is available. Samsung will not be offering refurbished Galaxy Note 7 devices for rent or sale in the US." This is the statement given by Samsung about it last March.

The 300,000 units are really small compared to the overall units recalled before for Samsung Note 7. Supposedly, the company is also considering whether the people would still want it after the unfortunate issue it had.
Meanwhile, the price and other offers will be Samsung Note 7's promotion for it. To take note, the phone's technology is also something to behold.
