Moto G5 and G5 Plus have been unveiled as the fifth generation of the Moto G series, which is believed to be the most affordable brand in the smartphone industry. Given the number of upgrades expected from the new devices, including the price, several reports suggest the notable differences of the two variants.

Moto G5 And G5 Plus Bring Premium Materials And Specs With Cheaper Price Tag

According to reports, Moto G5 differs from Moto G5 Plus in terms of size, as the former comes with a 5.0-inch IPS LCD, 1920x1080 pixels and 65.4 percent screen-to-body ratio. On the other hand, Moto G5 Plus comes with a bigger size of 5.2-inch IPS LCD, 1920x1080 pixels and 67.1 percent screen-to-body ratio.

Moto G5 will have the headphone jack on its top, while Moto G5 Plus puts the feature on the bottom. Meantime, reports suggest that both comes with an aluminum chassis, which makes them a bit heavier, yet remain as compact devices.

Meanwhile, Moto G5 will have 13MP rear camera and 1080p video recording capability while Moto G5 Plus comes offers 12MP front camera and a 4K video recording. Both will have 5MP front camera, phase detection autofocus, LED flash and auto-HDR features. However, G5 Plus will use Qualcomm S625, which is expected to deliver faster compared to Moto G5;s Qualcomm S430, Forbes
