Microsoft's launched Surface tablets in 2012 and since then there born a new concept of the 2-in-1 device. The concept behind the design that a laptop can be changed into a tablet remains the same. Then the rest of the tech giant started making convertible laptops including Lenovo, Apple and Samsung and recently, there are ongoing speculations of Apple iPad Pro 2 Vs Microsoft Surface Pro 5.

When Microsoft Surface Pro 4 launched in 2015 with improved hardware and windows OS, it instantly became an ideal device for the consumers as well as for the PC makers. The latest Microsoft's Surface Pro 4 gives a more 2-in-1 experience than Lenovo's Yoga and Dell's XPS 13 2-in-1. As Apple jumped into the 2-in-1 war with its innovative iPad Pro, the entire scenario has been changed.

Apple iPad Pro 2 is expected to be launched with high-end features just like the MacBook Pro. Recently, there are speculations that the hybrid 2-in-1 device might be launched with a touch bar just like iMacs. Although the users have to sacrifice their iconic home button to enjoy the feature, but they can take a chance to taste the new technology.  Apple's iPad Pro 2 and Microsoft Surface Pro 5 both are expected to be launched this spring.

Microsoft Surface Pro 5 even speculated to provide the most innovative forms in its tiny detachable laptops. Besides, the device will be a home to Intel's latest Kaby Lake Core i7, as described by Forbes reporter Ewan Spence. The touch screen stylus will also be included by default with an upgraded design from Pro 3's awkward plastic to Pro 4's more elegant magnetic attachment which is far better than iPad Pro 2.

According to the sources, the company is even planning to replace the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 stylus's triple A or button cell battery with a rechargeable battery. This is a move Apple had already taken for its iPad Pro's pen and the same will be expected to incorporate in iPad Pro 2. Besides, the Surface Pro 5's will start at $899; an Intel Core i7 model will cost $999, and the i7 Extreme version will cost for $1,599.
