It has only been less than a week after the new photos from “Game of Thrones” season 7 were revealed, and fan theories have already become trending news online. These relevant theories include Jon Snow, played by Kit Harington, finally having a glimpse at his mother’s grave while the Lannisters could possibly be turning against each other.

Looking at the solo photo of Jon Snow, Harington’s character can be seen gazing on; fans are speculating that he is standing in Winterfell’s crypts based on the stone arches and dark background behind him. Winterfell is an important location for “Game of Thrones” season 7, most especially for Jon Snow, because his biological mother, Lyanna Stark- Ned Stark’s sister- is buried here. Therefore, the new theory suggests that, in this photo, Jon Snow is actually looking at Lyanna’s grave.

There have been multiple questions about Jon Snow’s storyline in “Game of Thrones” season 7; these include issues concerning the discovery of his real patronage. How did Jon Snow find out? How did he react upon knowing that he is Lyanna’s son, and not Ned’s? Did he also know about Rhaegar Targaryen being his father? Another theory has suggested that “Game of Thrones” season 7 will place clues about Jon’s real father in the crypts of Winterfell.

Aside from Jon Snow, “Game of Thrones” season 7 will also put the spotlight on the Lannister siblings, also lovers, Cersei (Lena Headey) and Jamie (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau). According to Reddit users, Jaime might finally put an end to his sister’s life.

Looking at the “Game of Thrones” season 7 photo featuring the blonde siblings, Jaime’s sword has a hilt knitted out with jewels and bands. Although this may not be a remarkable sword, some fans might remember that, in season four, King Joffrey (Jack Gleeson) used the sword to destroy the book given to him by his uncle Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) as a present.

Furthermore, this Valyrian-forged sword, called the Widow’s Wail, has not come up in the past two seasons. Could it be possible that Jaime will use the weapon to end his widow sister’s life? Another theory, however, contradicts this notion as the Queen of Westeros could be killed off by another character. “Game of Thrones” season 7 is set to premiere on HBO this June.
