‘Supernatural’ Season 12, Episode 19 is not airing on April 20: Here Is What Happens In ‘The Future’ [Spoilers, New Airdate]
"Supernatural" Season 12 is on a break. The CW series returns next week with Episode 19 entitled "The Future." It focuses on Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean Winchester's (Jensen Ackles) battle against Lucifer and their attempt to stop Lucifer's unborn child.

When the show returns with "Supernatural" Season 12, Episode 19, Sam and Dean put everything on the line to stop Lucifer's child's birth that could lead to a disaster for mankind. According to the official synopsis as on Spoiler TV, Sam has a plan to stop the disaster. Meanwhile, Kelly, the mother of the unborn child and Lucifer's girlfriend, has her own plan. Despite knowing the fact that birthing her son will kill her, Kelly makes some hard yet daring choices about the baby's future.
"Sam comes up with a way to stop Lucifer's baby but Castiel has something else in mind for Kelly. Dean is furious when he finds out someone stole the colt. Kelly makes a bold choice about the baby's future," reads the official synopsis for "Supernatural" Season 12, Episode 19. The episode entitled "The Future" is written by Robert Berens & Meredith Glynn and directed by Amanda Tapping.
In addition, viewers can expect to learn more about Castiel in Episode 19. In an interview with TV Line, Executive Producer Andrew Dabb revealed that Season 12 features "at least three really strong Castiel episodes." The first one was aired on Feb. 2 that focused on Castiel's history. It was followed by another Castiel-heavy episode on Feb. 9.
"The Future" is one of the three episodes that explores Castiel's storyline. "Then we have another episode coming up later in the season, Episode 19, that's extremely Cas-heavy in an even different way," Dabb told TV Line.
