‘Street Fighter V’ Release Date Announced Officially; Dhalsim Added To Character Roster!
Capcom has just announced the release date of "Street Fighter V" and that is on Feb. 16, 2016. The game will be on PC and PlayStation 4 in North America and Europe, according to IGN.
A few days ago, the beta version of the game was announced with different features added. There were also other characters that you could play, but there were some that were not available for a day. The beta test lasted only a few days and was constantly updated to let players test out different features of the game.
The executive producer of the game, Yoshinoro Ono, has announced the release date of the game during Sony's press conference on Paris Games Week today, according to sources.
There will be six additional characters to be added during the game's first year, according to Eurogamer.net. This will make the total roster go up to 22 characters by the start of 2017.
"In case you haven't heard, Street Fighter V is moving away from doing large bundles of post launch content, such as our prior Super or Ultra upgrades, and instead will be continuously releasing new post launch content on a regular basis," Capcom wrote on its blog.
"No longer will you need to wait one or two years for new Street Fighter goodness; it will always be right around the corner," continues the blog.
The content will also be purchasable via "Fight Money" which is the in-game money, according to sources. This will be the reward for players who play the game a lot.
Dhalsim joins the "Street Fighter V" first cast, according to PC Gamer. The new look of Dhalsim is that he wears a turban on his head and sports a beard. He also has new moves like the Yoga Float, Yoga Burner, and many more.
