iPad Pro 2 Release Date, News & Update: Device, iPad Pro Mini's Three Bigger Siblings Arriving Late April 2017?

iPad Pro mini is a trending device on the Internet these days. The chances that Apple will launch an iPad event in April are high. Although the company didn't send the invites, as it is in the testing mode of its iPad Pro 2 and its siblings.

Reports are coming from Fiksu that Apple is testing 4 iPad models which might even include iPad Pro mini. According to the reports, a leaked investor has indicated that Apple is expected to update its iPad lineup with 12.9-inch and even introduce budget friendly iPads with 10.5-inch, 10-inch, and tiny 9.7-inch models. Although the company didn't reveal any specific information about the iPad Pro Mini, but it seems that 9.7-inchs model can be considered as a mini version of iPad Pro 2.

Furthermore, Tech Crunch reports even claimed that the larger models of iPads including iPad Pro 2 with 12.9-inchs and 10.5-inchs will be embedded with latest next generation mobile processor A10X. While the rest two iPad Pro Mini models 10-inchs and 9.7-inchs of iPad will have the A9 chipset. KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo even stated that the A10X chipset will be manufactured by Taiwanese Semiconductor unit and Apple has ordered A9 chipset from Samsung.

Apple already revealed a budget-friendly entry-level iPad targeting educational market. The reason behind upgrading the iPad range with iPad Pro 2 and iPad Pro Mini is to target consumer market. Consumers did not update their tablet as frequent as they upgrade their smartphone.

With the launch of iPad Pro 2 and iPad Pro Mini, Apple wanted to lure the consumers with some cool, budget-friendly iPad models. Although the company is yet to announce any information about the devices, it can be expected that the next era of tablet and mobile phones will focus on budget-friendly devices rather than high-end expensive pieces. Launching mid-ranged high-end devices are the only way to encourage tablet users to abandon their devices and grab a new one.
