Lee Dong Wook Unveils Secret Behind ‘Goblin’ Kiss With Yoo In Na, Talks Emotional Scenes
Lee Dong Wook delighted avid fans when he unveiled interesting behind-the-scenes details about the hit drama "Goblin." The actor even commented on his kiss scene with Yoo In Na for the said tvN series.
The "Goblin" star recently visited Singapore for the third leg of his "For My Dear" fan meeting tour. Held on April 15, Saturday, Lee Dong Wook gave candid responses during the press conference with local reporters and at the meet-and-greet event with fans.
When asked about Lee Dong Wook's kiss scene with "Goblin" co-star Yoo In Na, the actor revealed that the said romantic scenario was not part of the original script, Koreaboo reported. He even teased that the actress was the one who suggested to add the said kissing scene between their characters.
Featured during the final episode of "Goblin," Lee Dong Wook shared that he and Yoo In Na had to film the said kissing scene several times since it was a last minute addition to the scenario. Given that the two co-stars were unable to rehearse the said romantic scene ahead of time, filming activities for the said shot extended until late in the night.
Apart from the "Goblin" kiss scene, Lee Dong Wook also shared his secret in tackling scenes that required him to cry. Thinking about the time that his puppy died helped in making the "My Girl" star feel the necessary emotions for crying scenes, according to the actor.
The "Goblin" star also shared a similar sentiment during a recent V Live show, as cited by Soompi, where he shared how he was able to express the required reactions for emotional scenes. Highlighting how South Korea's drama production timelines would typically keep its cast members immersed in their characters due to tight filming schedules, Lee Dong Wook stated that the said working environment is also helpful in keeping him attuned to his character's emotions.
