After the full sizzler reel of "Star Wars Battlefront 2" was officially released at the recent Star Wars Celebration, the gaming fandom of the galaxy far, far away were all hyped about it. Game developer DICE also revealed that the game sequel will be filling the shelves minus a season pass.

In a statement obtained by IGN, creative director Bernd Diemer explained that the inclusion of a season pass in "Star Wars Battlefront 2" will just diverge the upcoming game's player base. He added that they have to think of better ways other than putting up a once-and-done scheme.

Game publisher Electronic Arts (EA) also dished out a statement saying that they have heeded the call of the fans and will be coming up with new plans for the game. Nonetheless, they have not disclosed such plans to the gaming public yet. It is expected, though that EA will be setting their crosshairs towards the game's progression, depth, and content.

Noobs to both the game and the Star Wars Universe will find it awkward that "Star Wars Battlefront 2's" single player gameplay will feature the Empire's perspective with the introduction of a new character into the fray - Iden Versio, Gizmodo, has learned. The new femme fatale was portrayed by Janina Gavankar who also voiced "Halo 5's" FERO/Maya Sankar.

Iden is a part of the collective known as the Inferno Squadron which is the Empire's troop of all trades. The team is well adept in military combat, espionage, and can even do air support.

The EA panel at the Star Wars Celebration also made it known that contents from the upcoming "Star Wars Episode 8 The Last Jedi" will also be chipped in as a pre-order treat. Information about these are quite difficult to come by as of late, though it is believed that new skins for Kylo Ren and Rey will be included.

The game sequel will be released on November 17 and will be playable on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Check out a video about "Star Wars Battlefront 2" here:
