‘Better Call Saul’ Season 3, Episode 8 Is Not Airing On May 29: New Airdate Announced

According to the official synopsis for "Better Call Saul" Season 3, Episode 2 entitled "Witness," Jimmy and Kim hire an assistant. Meanwhile, Chuck uses the law to move ahead Jimmy in the upcoming episode. Elsewhere, Mike seeks for an acquaintance.

In the promo for "Better Call Saul" Season 3, Episode 2, we see a glimpse of Gus Fring. Creators of the show Peter Gould and Vince Gilligan spoke with Entertainment Weekly about bringing back actor Giancarlo Esposito as Gus Fring.

When asked about what kind of Gus will the fans see Gilligan stated that "the Gus Fring we'll see in Better Call Saul will be very recognizable and familiar to fans of Breaking Bad. Unlike those other two characters that I just mentioned who we really are seeing evolve or devolve, if you will, into who they will become in the Breaking Bad era, I think we're going to reach Gus Fring in Better Call Saul as if not fully formed, [then] much closer in action to the character we knew from the previous series."

Gilligan continued and stated that Gus is not exactly the same guy as seen in "Breaking Bad," but they did not try to portray him fumbling in his early career as the character is "just so cool." Watch "Better Call Saul" Season 3, Episode 2 online, here.
