Moreover, given the ECC memory modules in these new variants, the capacity of these ECC RAMs is believed to be in the range of 16 up to 64GB, as ECC memory works in such a way that it can determine any errors and corrupted data, and fix them which is not the case with the consumer grade RAMs.

iMac 2017, meanwhile, is also rumored to use AMD chips for the graphics, while the Thunderbolt 3 that exists on current generation MacBook Pro laptops will still be used. It should be noted that the Thunderbolt 3 technology from Intel uses just a single cable to supply power and output the resolution on the display, Learn Bonds reported.

iMac 2017 May Likely Be Announced In Either September Or October. iMac 2017 will definitely arrive this year as confirmed by Apple. However, it is also clear that the tech giant will not hold any event until June this year, which is the WWDC developers conference, suggesting that the fans will unlikely see any Macs in the event. Nevertheless, the company is expected to have product announcements in September and October, which means that the refreshed iMacs may likely be featured there, PC Advisor reported.
