According to the official synopsis for "Better Call Saul" Season 3, Episode 2, Jimmy and Kim recruit a new assistant for work. Meanwhile, Mike looks for a mysterious acquaintance in the brand new episode. Also, Chuck uses law to get an advantage over Jimmy.
Peter Gould of "Better Call Saul" spoke with Entertainment Weekly about the inclusion of Gus in the current season. Gould stated that when they killed off Gus in "Breaking Bad," it was very sad. The loved the character and they loved Giancarlo who plays Gus.
However, Vince stated that "Breaking Bad" is like Highlander and there can only be one. Meanwhile, when Giancarlo came to know that his character will be seen again on TV he was delighted and happily agreed to be a part of "Better Call Saul."
"Having the opportunity to bring the character of Gus back and work with Giancarlo again was too delicious to pass up when it was right for the show. One of the things that I'm proud of is we've resisted a lot of temptations about bringing characters back and situations back earlier in the show. Because we want to earn our pleasures. We want everything to make sense dramatically for the characters,"
