U.S. To Fly F-22s Over South Korea

The Korean Peninsula is seen to have in its waters the United States Navy warships that seem like a show of force to North Korea. The strike group is headed by the USS Carl Vinson aircraft carrier, with two guided-missile destroyers, an attack submarine, and a guided-missile cruiser.

US Warships In The Korean Peninsula Is Wise Move To Maintain American Presence

According to Dave Benham, a spokesman for the US Pacific Command, the measure was a wise move in order to maintain readiness and the presence in Western Pacific. Benham also noted that North Korea is currently the biggest threat in the region, as Pyongyang continues its irresponsible program of missile testing and nuclear arms development.

Meantime, U.S. National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster revealed that President Donald Trump had asked him, including other officials to offer suggestions in eliminating the threat of a nuclear-armed North Korea. According to McMaster, these options will be considered to eradicate the threat to the American people, including their allies and partners in the area. Incidentally, the strike group deployment to Korean Peninsula comes following the  American missiles struck the Syrian military last week, which was prompted by the deadly chemical weapon attack, Learning English reported.

Korean Peninsula War Is Most Unlikely

War on the Korean Peninsula is highly improbable as the US government supports the South Korean policy on the peaceful settlement of tensions against North Korea. This was announced by Lee Duck-hang, spokesman of South Korean Ministry of Unification. Meantime, the US official confirmed that an aircraft carrier strike group has been sent to the Korean Peninsula in the midst of the growing tension between North Korea.

Meantime, Lee Duck-hang also announced that there is no basis to be worried as the US stands by South Korea's policy on North Korea. He also added that the US government plans to resolve all the issues peacefully, given that Seoul believes the importance of settling tensions through political process, while the restrictive move against North Korea is designed to engage Pyongyang in the discussion, News reported
