Rap Monster and The Chainsmokers

After interacting with American artists on social media during their sold The Wings US tour, its seems BTS leader Rap Monster has caught the attention of yet another hitmaker n and fans are now mulling a potential collaboration.  After a collaboration with American rapper Wale started on social media, could a similar thing happen for Rap Monster and The Chainsmokers?

It can be recalled that the call for a collaboration happened after Rap Monster shared on BTS' twitter account that he was listening to The Chainsmokers' song "Young" from their album "Memories: Do Not Open." It was a casual mention of the song that the duo of Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall noticed and immediately gave a shout out to. In their reply, they thanked the BTS leader for his support of their music.

According to a report by Soompi, however, the interaction made the potential for collaboration seem real if both parties would only reach out to each other. Both Rap Monster and The Chainsmokers have collaborated with other artists in the past and judging by their genre of music, they could potentially have a hit on their hands given their talent and passion for similar types of music. The Chainsmokers has come out with several successful collaborations with other artists like Halsey, Daya, Rozes, Great Good Fine OK and even Coldplay for their hit songs.

It seems that BTS is coming to the attention of many international artists because of the growing reach of their music internationally. The group also recently received a shoutout from Kehlani, whom the group said they would like to work with. Even groups from other genres like punk pop band State Champs also praised BTS'  "Not Today" for being awesome, Korea Portal previously reported.

Fans similarly thought that a collaboration between a group from a different genre like the State Champs would prove to be interesting for BTS. They said that mixing up the sound of both groups could result in something epic and unexpected.
