According to the official synopsis, Chuck and Jimmy are having a tough time as their relationship is in turmoil. Meanwhile, in "Better Call Saul" Season 3, Episode 1 entitled "Mabel," Kim is finding it difficult to run her own firm. During the episode, Mike investigates the note found in his car.

Meanwhile, Deadline spoke with executive producer Peter Gould, Giancarlo Esposito and Jonathan Banks about the new season. Esposito shared that his character Gus return but he is a different man. "It's a Gus you've never seen before. The subtle difference is I want to be the Gus that's younger, vulnerable," Esposito said.

Banks also talked about Mike's evolution. "Mike has been Mike a long time. He may not be the right-hand man to a drug lord, but Mike has been in a dark place for a long time," Banks said.

"Better Call Saul" is a prequel to "Breaking Bad" focusing on lawyer Saul Goodman. During the panel interview, Gould is asked if they have a plan about how things will merge with "Breaking Bad."

"The only plan we have is what we've shown the audience. ... We're constantly pinning ourselves into corners and hoping like hell that we can get ourselves out. The positive thing about that is we can't figure out what happens next. Hopefully, the answer will be a surprise to the audience as well as us," Gould said.
