“EXO-CBX” is the first sub-unit for the popular South Korean group “EXO”. They are formed by S.M. Entertainment last year and is composed of three members namely Baekhyun, Chen, and Xiumin. It's our goal to meet many fans through fan meetings." He added.
The three first appeared in “EXO” music video “Reservoir Idols” last July 2016. This was followed by releasing an original soundtrack “For You” for the popular television drama series, “Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo” the following month. This started the rumors that the three will be “EXO” subunit which was later confirmed by S.M. Entertainment. Then in October, the group performed “For You” live and for the first time as a group in Busan One Asia Festival 2016. The next day, the group’s official name was finally announced, “EXO-CBX” which was taken from the first letter of the members, ChenBaekXi.
