Lamar Odom News Update: Love Ranch Binge Damaged His Kidneys; Could Face Criminal Charges!
The results of Lamar Odom's blood test showed that cocaine was present in his system when he was found unresponsive at the Love Ranch; and when he was admitted to a Las Vegas hospital, according to Daily Mail.
Nye County Sherriff's Department confirmed that it was possible for Odom to be prosecuted for drugs: Although if he is prosecuted, the ex-NBA star will not do time, cited by TMZ.
In the state of Nevada, possession of cocaine could lead to a one to four year prison sentence. First time offenders have to attend a drug education course; after completion, the charges are dismissed.
Lamar Odom underwent surgery connected to aspiration pneumonia, Wednesday.
He has suffered multiple strokes which damaged his brain; and multiple organ failure. Most of his organs are functioning, but his lungs are scarred and the doctors see that his kidneys are failing. Odom undergoes dialysis, six hours a day.
Odom is on dialysis, and may need transplant. Rob Kardashian has reportedly offered to donate one of his kidneys to his brother in law, cited by Mirror. Though it is not sure if Rob and Lamar are a match, Rob is willing to undergo multiple tests.
Khloe Kardashian, Odom's wife has been by his bedside throughout this ordeal, only leaving his bedside for Kim Kardashian West's baby shower, revealed by People.
Odom's substance abuse is the main reason why the couple decided to split. Recently, Khloe and Lamar called off their almost finalized divorce
